Tip of the Day: A Hygiene Wash - DIY

Have you ever thought that feminine hygiene wash can be made at home and stored in the fridge? Well, apparently it can be made, and this is how:

Ingredients:
- Some oak gall (about 4-5, depending on size)
- Betel Leaves (about 10)
- A medium-sized pot (half-filled water) or small pot (filled)

How:
- crush the oak gall to small pieces
- boil water in pot
- mix the oak gall and betel leaves in boiling water
- the mixture will turn dark in 30-45 minutes, let it cool.
- put a small portion in a small bottle for daily use, keep the rest in the fridge.
- when your supply runs out, use the one in the fridge, but heat it up for a few minutes first. Don't use it straight from        the fridge.

I've posted something about oak gall (manjakani) earlier last month - that's HERE. It's a very useful plant for us women. Until next time, Ciao.
