Tip of the Day: Oily stains on clothes

My first tip today relates to removing oily stains that may find itself onto your clothes.
You may be unlucky sometimes and these things happen during a meal. You will have to find some talcum powder (guys, please have the courtesy to ask from your date some if you don’t have it :).

Wipe of the stain gently first, DO NOT try to wash it out – it will absorb into the fibers of the clothes. Smear some powder on the stain, gently rub it in evenly. Do this as soon as possible – it might not work 100% if it is left for some time. Leave the talcum powder on the stain for at least ½ an hour before washing. It’s best to use concentrated liquid detergent on the stain first before putting it in the washer.
