Tip of the Day: Ghosts under the Bed - Part 2

I've made a post earlier about dust mites and the harm these bloodsuckers can bring, especially to people with skin problems - that's HERE. Apparently, the advent of tech products such as anti-dust mite mattress protectors and pillowcases are only recent discoveries.
This is how they used to do it in the old days:

1. Dry it out in the sun - I've discussed this too in my earlier post.

2. Find some sour sop leaves (the Malays call it 'durian belanda' - search it in Google, and you'll probably get a description of what it looks like), and put the leaves under the mattress /pillow for a few days in a row. Old people don't know chemistry, but I guess it must be some chemical compound in the leaves that either kills these mites or drives them away.

OK, hope this helps - Ciao.
