Tip of the Day: Rotate your Bed
For those of you who sleeps on a mattress (there are people I know who sleep on a tatami/ straw mat), here are some general tips to take care of your mat as well as your body.
1. Rotate your mattress - do this every three months to make sure your mattress doesn't go limp on one side. A mattress that limps on one side will have a bad effect on your spine. It's pretty much like rotating your car tyres every once in a while so that it wears out evenly.
2. Vacuum it - dust mites tend to flourish when humidity's high. There's a new breed of vacuum cleaners (water-based, no bags) that have the capability to suck these bloodsuckers out of your mattress. If you can't afford it, then dry it out in the hot sun (an alternative in tropical countries).
3. Soursop Leaves - I blogged about this HERE. Though it's a bit crude, it often works.
OK, blog later. Ciao.
